Tactile Vocal Workshop by Ute Wassermann and Tomomi Adachi

This is a voice workshop as a herald of choir project which will be organized by voice performers/composers Ute Wassermann and Tomomi Adachi. The workshop will be held in a huge space with a deep reverberation which allow the participants to explore a special sense of space. Any particular skills and technics are not required for this workshop. We welcome dancers, actors, musicians and anyone who has a special interest in working with their voice and some experience with improvisation.
Next year Ute and Tomomi intend to organize a choir that is based on this workshop. The participants will take part in workshops by both artists.
Tomomi's workshop focuses on extended physical or imaginary senses for voice, gesture, tactile and space, participants improvise but also play simply organized rhythmic or fluxes-like scores with extended vocal technics.
Ute´s workshop focuses on the voice and body as a sound instrument. Participants will work on improvised and structured pieces exploring the acoustic and architectural characteristics of the given space.

Berlin Sound Poet Quoi Tete
Berlin Sound Poet Quoi Tete is a group for collective sound poetry performance with four Berlin based sound/experimental poets, Tomomi Adachi, Ernesto Estrella, Jelle Meander and Cia Rinne.
They will present their own poems with quartet, duo and solo formations, also works as a historical dada poem "L'amiral cherche une maison a louer", Japanese modernism in 1920s, Jackson Mac Low and Ernst Jandl.
Especially this performance includes the first presentation of "Dada Seance". They tried to contact to the spirits of Dadaists through Ouija Board, then got NEW short texts from Tristan Tzara, Roaul Hausmann and Kurt Schwitters.
